Update 7/20: The McCloskeys have been charged with felonies:
Mark and Patricia McCloskey each are facing a single felony count of unlawful use of a weapon — exhibiting. Charging documents say he pointed an AR-15 rifle at protesters and she wielded a semiautomatic handgun, placing protesters in fear of injury.
In a statement, St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly M. Gardner said, “It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner at those participating in nonviolent protest, and while we are fortunate this situation did not escalate into deadly force, this type of conduct is unacceptable in St. Louis.”

Kim Gardner is famous for “gunning“ for the McCloskys over the incident in which they defended their property from a mob that invaded their private area. Well, turns out she’s very selective on who and how she prosecutes gun related incidents. Here she is on how to solve the problem of “gun violence“ in the area in which she is head prosecutor:

Her idea is to treat “gun crimes/offenders” as a “public health issue” (shocking) because she’s also a RN. She even states that race is a determining factor in the way she prosecutes. With her going after the McCloskeys for NOT shooting anyone (seizing Mark’s AR-15 with no criminal charges and what’s now looking like a possible indictment on the way), yet taking a light approach to actual offenders during this whole current situation, it seems pretty clear that she is actually making this a racial/class/partisan issue instead of a “safety“ issue. Civil rights violation anyone?!?!?!?!? What else would you expect from a Soros bankrolled political hack though. And also another “shocking” find: She attended an event with Moms Demand Action.
I think Frederick Douglass is spinning in his grave over this woman, as she is not using her power for good or “justice”, she’s using it to create anarcho-tyranny :

As a side note, Gardner sued the city of St. Louis, the SLPOA, and the FOP earlier this year. Bet you can’t guess the reasons (pay special attention to paragraph 9, as this is BS after her treatment of the McCloskeys)....

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner said late Tuesday that Missouri's governor and President Donald Trump"came after" her for investigating a couple who displayed guns as they defended their home during a racial injustice protest. Gardner made the comment after Missouri Gov. Mike Parson said the president told him he was concerned about the possibility that the couple could face criminal charges.
Gardner noted in a statement Tuesday that she hasn't decided whether to file charges against Mark and Patricia McCloskey. She also said Mr. Trump and Parson continue to "play politics with the handling of this matter, spreading misinformation and distorting the truth."
"It is unbelievable the Governor of the state of Missouri would seek advice from one of the most divisive leaders in our generation to overpower the discretion of a locally elected prosecutor," Gardner said, adding that "It is also incredible that at a time when our nation is dealing with a rapidly spreading deadly virus and our State reported a record number of new infections, they are launching these dog-whistle attacks against me."
This woman is pathetic. Playing the “victim“ when she is going out of her way to cause this mess for political reasons.
